In keeping with the core value of Seek Continuous Improvement, the first SP6 Team Member Satisfaction Survey is in the books!
Members of the SP6 leadership team presented the survey findings during a recent All Hands meeting.
“SP6 has three broad objectives: tripling the size of our company over the next two years, doing so while maintaining the exceptional customer satisfaction average that has become our benchmark, and realizing similarly high levels of team member satisfaction. That trifecta is our North Star, so to speak,” said Co-Founder Jim Barge.
SP6 conducted the Team Member Satisfaction Survey in the first half of 2021, with 78% of employees participating. The findings indicate they enjoy working at SP6. Here are some of the highlights:
- 82% of employees rated their job satisfaction at 8 or greater, on a scale of 1 to 10.
- Overall, the average job satisfaction score was 8.49 on a 1 to 10 scale.
- Opportunities for training and development were mentioned as one of the top reasons listed as elevating job satisfaction.
- Corporate culture was also regularly mentioned as a top reason that team members provided high ratings.
Setting the bar
“Our Team Member Satisfaction Survey results strongly indicate team members view SP6 is an employer of choice. The results also set the bar for leadership, in terms of driving even higher levels,” Barge said.
Though they’ve been around for a long time, employee surveys continue to be a highly-effective way to gauge employee engagement, according to the Harvard Business Review.
As SP6 grows and expands, its leadership will continue to survey team members at least once a year, to find out how they feel about working at the company.
